This fun, curriculum-based class will present each of the elements of salsa, beginning with the rhythm, timing, and basic steps and then move into the first level of partnering, footwork, turning and styling.
- You will learn the "salsa vocabulary" that you need to feel comfortable in our advanced beginner and multi-level classes.
- You will learn about the history of salsa and the different styles that people dance today.
- You will build confidence in your skills which will start to show on the dance floor.
- You will learn all of the basic building blocks and variations you need to be creative and have fun throughout full songs.
- You will get detailed feedback and reinforcement to help you learn each skill correctly.
- You will be able to feel the music and enjoy dancing with many partners.
- Students may take this course several times as they perfect their skills, and increase their level of performance.
