In this special workshop, we will begin by guiding you through time-honored Cuban exercises rooted in Yoruba & Modern Techniques. These exercises serve as essential training tools for dancers across the island, from beginners to professionals.

Next, we’ll explore the rich history of Salsa & Bachata, tracing their shared roots that developed on the island over the past two centuries. We will highlight the cherished movements that have stood the test of time, and help you use them to enrich your dancing today.

In the final section of the workshop, we'll teach combinations that incorporate the movements and concepts into both Salsa & Bachata formats—material you can immediately apply on the dance floor or in choreography. You’ll leave inspired, equipped with new ideas, and ready to put them into practice!

This special event is presented by MetaMovements, Havana Club, and Tina Cavicchio. It’s open to…
