Trained by renowned instructors and dancers in Cuba through MetaMovements Cultural Connections Travel Program, Eli Pabon is excited to share her love of Cuban Dance in Worcester! This 3 session class will be an introduction to a fun and dynamic group dance from Cuba, Rueda De Casino! Rueda De Casino is a partner style dance where people dance Casino (Salsa) together in unison, switching partners and performing group moves according to the “calls” being made. Casino and Rueda De Casino are increasingly gaining world popularity and originally informed the creation of what we know today as Salsa.
