Un Sueño Habanero: An Immersive Theatre Show with Live Music & Dance!
This is a journey between the world of dreams and the waking life of Roberto, a Cuban artist who currently lives and works far from his homeland on a special artist visa. Through projections, poetry, live percussion, songs, and dance, the audience is transported between Havana, Cuba, and Boston.

About the event
Guided by the voices of his ancestors and the presence of the Orishas, Roberto navigates memory, identity, and purpose. Both in dreams and in waking life, these spiritual forces remind him who he is and the path he is meant to follow, connecting past, present, and destiny in a powerful and transformative experience.
This production is semi-autobiographical and multidisciplinary, created by Javier Jeffer and Anara Frank, with support from MetaMovements Artist Collective members. It comes to life and emerges as a deeply collaborative creation thanks to the dedication and artistry of the DeCu Music and Dance teams of MetaMovements, with the vision and expertise of Illuminus, the collaboration of JAE Dance Center, and the support of the Passim Iguana Music Fund. Below, you can learn more about each collaborator.
