FUNDRAISING OBJECTIVES

The goal of our fundraising efforts is to cover the multiple costs associated to the program, including: 
 

  • program staff to provide a safe environment for the whole family

  • safe set-up and take-down of program event

  • Master dance and music instructors, especially for those who are differently-abled, elderly, or have other barriers to participation       

  • creating and printing of outreach materials, especially to include multiple under-served communities (seniors, deaf, children, etc)    

  • sound equipment, DJ and related equipment   

  • dance and work uniforms for the youth arts ambassadors

  • event supplies

  • outdoor dance flooring for safer dancing   

  • coaching and mentorship costs for participating youth

  • youth stipends

  • "Silent Rhythms" programming (salsa for people who are visually & hearing impairs)

  • Children's activities

  • Live bands

Your funding will go directly into all these costs so that we can make Salsa In The Park a lasting reality for more youth in the community!
